End of an era 09

This week sees the retirement of Metal Spinners Group's longest serving member of staff, John Wilkinson, after an amazing 42 years.

John's career with the company started in June 1967 when he was employed as a machine operator. During his 42 years service John has held numerous positions including Works Manager, and most recently as Technical Sales Manager.

John's wealth of knowledge and experience of the metal spinning process has been an invaluable asset as the company has grown from its traditional metal spinning roots in Newcastle upon Tyne to a worldwide supplier of high quality performance critical components and assemblies.

Fortunately for Metal Spinners Group, the company is in his blood. John has agreed to carry on in his Technical role on a part time basis. We hope he will enjoy all the extra time he has on his hands and wish him all the best for the future.
