Benefits of YinI: One of the main reasons that I chose to do a year in industry was that I wanted a break from studying after completing my A Levels, and before I continued to university. I wanted the year to be worthwhile, which is why I decided to do a year in industry. As well as this it also meant that I could be certain that a degree in engineering would interest me. My year at Metal Spinners Group was a good experience, I managed to get relevant engineering experience which resulted in me continuing in an engineering field at university. As well as that, the year I spent at Metal Spinners  Group also made me a much more confident person, and has enabled me to deal with different situations and issues which arise within a work place. Metal Spinners Group: The Company Whilst I was at Metal Spinners Group I was involved with lots of projects. The types of projects I was given were: designing robot jigs, re-designing and improving different machine parts, installing lubrication systems and also carrying out engineering assistant tasks including: ordering material and raising works orders for production.
